Introducing the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500: Professional Grade Performance

This edition of the Sierra 1500 has eight distinctive trim levels to choose from, with four engines offered among them. The PRO, SLE, and Elevation trims all come with a 310-horsepower 2.7-liter turbocharged I-4 engine under the hood. Moving up the line, the SLT and Denali trims have a 5.3-liter V8 that delivers 355 horsepower if you need more output.

The Denali Ultimate trim has the largest engine, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8. This engine shares the truck’s maximum towing capacity of 13,000 pounds with the fourth engine, a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel I-6 that comes with the rugged AT4 and AT4X trims. Four-wheel drive is available, as are many other off-roading features, including a two-speed Autotrac transfer case for optimized traction, an off-road suspension system, and Hill Descent Control.

Comfy Seats and Work-Ready Design

Inside the truck, a 40/20/40 split-bench front seat with under-seat storage comes standard in lower trims, while heated and ventilated front bucket seats come in select upper trims. Many upper trims also have heated rear outboard seats, and seating material choices across the trim lineup range from cloth to full-grain leather.

On the outside, 12 integrated cargo tie-down points can be found in the bed for securing cargo and multiple tailgate types are available depending on the trim, including one with EZ Lift assist and the six-function MultiPro Tailgate. Cargo bed lighting, cab-mounted cargo area lamps, and a CornerStep rear bumper are also standard to make work in the bed easier.

Sophisticated Technology and Safety

Boasting convenient technology as well, this edition comes with highlights like a six-speaker audio system, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, multiple USB ports, and a 12-volt power outlet. Then, there’s the GMC Infotainment System, which has a seven-inch diagonal color touchscreen in the Pro trim and a 13.4-inch diagonal screen in all others. Many upper trims also have steering wheel controls and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.

Along with six airbags, this pickup has plenty of driver-assist features to keep everyone safe, including IntelliBeam headlamps, which activate automatically; Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning; and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System with Tire Fill Alert. Also standard are the Following Distance Indicator and Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking or Front Pedestrian Braking.
