Engine and Transmission

The new Trax has a 1.2L Turbo EcoTec engine that’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This combination provides 137 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm.

Interior and Seating

The Chevy Trax seats up to five people, with a 6-way manual driver seat and a 4-way manual front passenger seat. The rear seat is a 60/40 split-folding bench that can be folded down on one or both sides to accommodate more cargo. All standard seating in the Trax is made with cloth seat trim that’s soft and easy to clean.
