Talk to the park rangers to check ice skating and ice fishing conditions.

3. Winter Hiking

Take a 22.4-mile drive to the beautiful 587-acre Pike Lake State Park for a refreshing hike to admire the beautiful winter scenery on the park’s five trails. The trails are between 0.4 and 1.2 miles long, ranging from easy to moderate, and wind through scenic woodlands and along the shores of the picturesque 13-acre lake.

4. Camping

Experience winter in front of a roaring fire in a cozy cabin deep in the wooded hills of the breathtaking Pike Lake State Park. The beautifully renovated cabins have full-size double beds and two bunk beds, and bathrooms with showers. There are fireplaces in the living rooms, and the kitchens have everything you need to prepare hearty winter meals.

Cabin reservations are required and can be made up to a year in advance by calling (866) 644-6727 or booking online. A deposit of 50% is required, and the balance must be paid 30 days before arrival.
