The 2022 Terrain SLE, SLT, and AT4 are compact versions of GMC’s SUV line and were released in the summer of 2021, with the Denali trim available in the fall of the same year. The vehicle has many significant updates that we would love to show you. Let’s get to know the 2022 GMC Terrain.

New Features

You’ll first notice its massive LED daytime running lamps and LED headlights. GMC added a c-shape to the lighting that interlocks perfectly with the front fascia. You get a new grille design with an excellent style and a striking flat black in the center that makes the logo pop!

The SLE model has 17-inch wheels; a good size with split spoke styling. It is a front-wheel drive vehicle, but you can get the all-wheel drive model. The car has a sleek, quarter-back window design that seamlessly joins the top, distinguishing it from the competition. It has LED taillights that merge effortlessly with the cargo area, matching the headlamp design.

The Source of Its Power

You’ll find a turbocharged engine when you pop the hood to see what powers this machine. It has a 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder, 170 horsepower, 203-pound feet of torque engine connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can go from 0-60 in 8.9 seconds. You can get 25 MPGs in the city and 30 on the highway.

Stylish Design

GMC does a great job with its intuitive infotainment system. You have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and navigation on an 8-inch touchscreen. It also has a wifi hotspot option and clear vision when you put it in reverse. The car also has dual climate control and a nice feel on the switches, gear, and dials.

This model has four USB-A and USB-C ports on the dashboard and heated two-toned stylish seats with manual controls. It has a lot of legroom for the backseat passengers and a rear AC, which is a nice touch, two USBs, and an electric outlet. There are 29.6 cubic feet of space for cargo with the seats up and 63.3 cubic feet of space with the seats folded. GMC included two buttons in the trunk that fold the rear seats automatically.

Overall, this vehicle looks and feels fantastic. GMC did an excellent job designing and creating it. If you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable car, then the Terrain is for you.
