1. Great Seal State Park Campground

The resort offers loads of exciting outdoor activities around the campground, from playing basketball, volleyball, and badminton to fishing and paddling on the spring-fed lake. Hit the golf cart trails into the woods, explore the surrounding meadows on foot down more than four miles of hiking trails, and cool down in the large swimming pool.

For a peaceful camp experience, take a drive six miles west of Chillicothe to the lovely Sun Valley Campground at 10105 Co Road 550 and sleep under the stars at one of 45 tent and RV campsites surrounded by lush green lawns under the trees.
