Your Guide to the 2023 Buick Envision

1. What’s new?

All Avenir models now feature a standard panoramic roof, and Technology Package II includes adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and surround-view monitoring. Buick introduces two new exterior hues for the Envision: white frost tri-coat and moonstone gray metallic.

2. Exterior

The Envision really expresses itself through its attractive front fascia and provides a persona that matches a variety of lifestyles. Modern lines and unique wing-shaped signatures in the available premium LED headlights add brilliance in every possible way.

The optional hands-free programmable power liftgate with LED logo projection lets drivers open and close their liftgate with a simple kick below the bumper. Other standard features are 18-inch aluminum wheels with a light charcoal metallic finish, daytime running lamps, and side roof rails.

3. Interior 

As Buick continues to push the boundaries of automotive technology, the new Envision is no exception. The latest infotainment system boasts an intuitive 8-inch diagonal touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. High-end trims offer a generous 10.2-inch diagonal high-resolution touchscreen that allows users to set up personal profiles to customize infotainment settings.

The 40/60 split folding rear bench seat adds storage versatility options to your vehicle. Customize your seating options in eight different ways with the standard 8-way power driver and front passenger seats.

4. Safety

The 2023 Envision comes with an abundance of safety features to ensure you and your passengers reach your destinations safe and sound. Every trim features teen driver and rear-cross traffic alert that notifies you of detected traffic from your left or right side when reversing. The safety alert seat will vibrate to help you identify the direction of a possible crash, so you can quickly take action.

Other standard safety features are the LATCH system, lane change alert, lane keeping assist, and lane departure warning.

5. Performance

All Envision variants come standard with a 2-liter ECOTEC I-4 engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission to deliver 228 horsepower and 258 lb. feet of torque. The 4-wheel antilock brakes help to reduce wheel lockup and maintain steering control when you brake hard on slippery surfaces. Additional performance features include an electronic stability control system, traction control, and an available continuous trailer hitch.
